Who said a medical conference has to be boring? The
Mediterranean Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery congress 2023
Dear friends,
I am thrilled to invite you to the Mediterranean Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery congress 2023 (MEDomfs23’) which will be held in cosmopolitan Limassol, Cyprus, between September 27 and September 29, 2023.
Zoe Nicolaou
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Congress President MEDomfs23’.
Secretary General of the CYAOMS
Our objectives for this Euro-Mediterranean Congress will be to link research with practice, as well as to advance our surgical knowledge, and generate additional value for our specialty. A particular focus will be placed on Digital Evolution and technological advancements resulting in shaping the future of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
This Congress will offer you interesting keynote lectures, high-quality workshops, panel discussions, controversies, oral presentations, poster presentations, and access to reputable exhibitors. The meeting will also give everyone a wonderful chance to get together and provide an excellent opportunity for networking in a captivating setting in the very heart of the vibrant city of Limassol.
Limassol is located on the Southern coast of Cyprus. Our congress venue is the ‘Carob-Mill Complex’, the main conference centre, situated at the historical core of Limassol, surrounded by the town’s renovated ‘old port’, the modern promenade park, and the new Limassol Marina. It is an excellent conference area by the Medieval Castle and its surrounding public square, allowing you to experience the city’s old rhythm, rich history, and the well-hidden gems of the nearby neighborhoods.
Cyprus might be small, but it feels like a little continent. You can find yourself from beautiful beaches, towns and archaeological sites to picturesque villages and inviting forests in no time. The island has an old-fashioned lifestyle with many modern features and of course nearly all year-round sunshine. Cyprus is an island of legends and has a history that dates over 10,000 years. It is not only known for its enchanting castles, the holy-monasteries, or for being the birthplace of the Goddess of Love and Beauty ‘Aphrodite’ but also for its breath-taking Mediterranean landscapes, culture, wines and delicious cuisine! So small and yet so big you can’t get enough of it.
Think no more, several Euro-Mediterranean OMFS associations invite you to Cyprus to enrich your knowledge, keep up to date with the latest developments within our field, make the most of our social activities agenda, have fun and explore a truly unique destination.
Don’t forget to save the date, book your early-bird registration, pack your sunscreen and see you at the Carob-Mill!
Wishing everyone all the best,
Zoe Nicolaou
